Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Revenue Precision collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It describes what the site actually does rather than what a website of this kind usually does.
01Who is responsible
Revenue Precision, Limitada, with registered office at Av. Marquês de Tomar, 44 — 7.º, 1050-156 Lisboa, Portugal, taxpayer number PT516413406, is the controller of the personal data described here.
For anything in this policy, including requests to exercise your rights, write to privacy@revenueprecision.com.
02What we collect, and when
You can read this website without telling us who you are. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies.
Personal data reaches us in two situations:
- Your IP address, on every visit. Our hosting provider records it in server logs, and it is also sent to a geolocation service so the site can choose which language to show you. See “Third parties” below — this one matters and is easy to miss.
- Whatever you tell us when you contact us — by booking a call, by WhatsApp, or by email. That includes your name, your contact details, and anything you choose to say about your business. We do not ask for anything before you reach us: the WhatsApp button opens the conversation directly, and the booking page asks only what Calendly needs to place the meeting.
03Why we are allowed to hold it
We rely on two legal bases under the GDPR. Our legitimate interest in operating a working website and in responding to people who approach us, for server logs, language selection and the handling of your enquiry. And the steps taken at your request before entering a contract, where your enquiry is about working together.
You can ask us to delete what you have sent us at any time, and we will.
04Third parties who see it
We use a small number of service providers. Each one sees only what it needs to do its job.
- Vercel — hosting. Server logs, including IP addresses and browser details.
- Supabase — database. Holds the content this website publishes, such as case studies.
- ipapi.co — geolocation. Your IP address is sent to this service on your first visit so the site can pick a language. It is not used to identify you and we do not store the result, but it is a transfer of an identifier to a third party and you should know it happens. If that is not acceptable to you, blocking requests to ipapi.co only causes the site to default to English.
- Calendly — scheduling. If you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email and the time you chose, under its own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp, operated by Meta — messaging. If you message us, Meta processes your phone number and the content of the conversation under its own terms.
05Transfers outside the EU
Some of the providers above are established outside the European Union or may process data there. Where that happens, transfers are made under the safeguards permitted by Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
If you want to know where a specific piece of your data sits, ask us at privacy@revenueprecision.com and we will tell you.
06How long we keep it
Server logs are kept for as long as our hosting provider retains them for security and diagnostics, and are not used for anything else.
An email address you give us, and the correspondence that follows, is kept while there is a live conversation and for as long afterwards as we may need it to answer a question about that conversation. If you tell us you are not interested, we delete it.
07Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to us processing it on the basis of legitimate interest, and ask to receive it in a portable format.
Write to privacy@revenueprecision.com. We will reply within one month. We do not charge for this, and we will not ask you for more information than we need to be sure it is you asking.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), the Portuguese supervisory authority. We would rather you told us first, but you do not have to.
08Cookies and local storage
This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. Typefaces are served from our own domain, so viewing the site sends no request to a font provider.
Browser local storage is used only in the administrative area of the site, to keep a signed-in session. It is not used on the public pages you are reading.
09Our products
This policy covers this website only. Our products — including Huub, Emily, DIGICAMPO, ARGUS and Secrets Manager — run on their own domains and have their own terms and privacy notices. Where we build or run software for a client, that client is the controller of the data in it and we act on their instructions under a separate agreement.
10Changes
If we change how this site handles personal data, we change this page and the date at the top of it. There is no version history published here; if you need to know what it said on a particular date, ask us.
